Malignant 03:16
Some nights... When everyone's asleep, when the world is quiet save for the sound of your breath... When your mind is free from daily worries, and when you stand still under the stars... Some nights you can feel something watching, in a sky that should be empty. A creeping, malignant blackness. A cancer in the ether, watching with malice and ever growing, feeding on the evil in our hearts. Yours, mine... There is darkness in the world and it began with us. And we must purge the evil from among us.

Why does it seem like we all live our lives In pursuit of things that don’t really matter? What’s the excuse for the misuse of our lives? I know I can do better than this. I can’t stand the feeling that I’m wasting my time. Stuck in slow motion but trying to climb / Out of this rut we seem content to live in. We choose not to make the best of what we are given. Day after day, I’m granted another breath. But what if this was the last? And do I make the most of every day, Or just let them slip away? Well I’ve had enough of living my life / Stuck in slow motion. I’ll break free. I will find a way out of this rut. Time has never been on our side. Not on yours, not on mine. And it feels like when the world turns, I just get left further behind. I am well aware of the fact that I’m dying. That’s why I can’t leave my priorities lying On the ground like everyone else does when I am So damn tired of life in slow motion. Time has never been on our side but I will never be left behind. I am not content to live my life with my Eyes on the ground, and not the horizon. Wise man once said, every journey begins with one Step. So I can’t afford to be here wasting / Breath. You can’t gain ground without moving. Stop talking, start doing. Day after day, I’m granted another breath. But what if this was the last? And do I make the most of every day, Or just let them slip away? Well I’ve had enough of living my life / Stuck in slow motion. I’ll break free. I will find a way out of this rut.
